Preparations for DSEI, 2021 are underway by organiser, Clarion Events. This is one of the largest arms fairs in the world, providing an opportunity for numerous defence and aerospace companies to showcase their products including arms and ammunition. If you are intending to exhibit in September we suggest you submit your application as soon as the gateway is released by Clarion. Now is also the time to give consideration to engaging the services of a Home Office approved Section 5 carrier to take care of all your transportation requirements of prohibited weapons, firearms and ammunition, to and from the show.
The UK Home Office has also revealed that there will be a fee this year for the grant of a section 5 authority in addition to the £200 required by the police for the grant of a Registered Firearms Dealers licence, which is a prerequisite if exhibiting arms and ammunition at the show.
As Home Office approved carriers, Force5 Carriers can assist with all aspects of the show’s registration process as well as providing transport for all section 5 prohibited weapons to and from the show. The window of opportunity is very small for delivery and collection of weapons at the show thus limiting most section 5 carriers to assisting a single client hence competition for transport services is high.
Please contact us to discuss engaging our services as transporters of section 5 prohibited weapons, ammunition and pyrotechnics.
