The U.K. Home Office is responsible for issuing authority to possess, transport, sell and store Section 5 prohibited weapons and articles once stringent conditions have been complied with. We, at Force 5 Carriers, have satisfied these requirements and are therefore authorised to possess, transport and store Section 5 firearms and ammunition including all other prohibited articles as defined by the Firearms Act, 1968. This combined with our purpose-built section 5 storage facility, enables us to provide a full and comprehensive service to address all your section 5 requirements.
All our vehicles and operating procedures are fully compliant with instructions laid down in the Home Office Firearms Security Manual and our records are audited and regulated by West Mercia Police.
For the purposes of commercial transport, ammunition falls within the category of explosives and as such carriers must ensure compliance with The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations and also the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). Trojan Transportation drivers are carefully selected from proven police or military backgrounds and are fully qualified to ADR standards thus ensuring safe operating procedures and the maintenance of security protocols at all times.
